Argentinian violinist Tomas Cotik and Chinese pianist Tao Lin, both Miami residents, formed their duo in 2010. Their first recording with Centaur Records was music for piano and violin by Franz Schubert. They went on to record classics of Mozart, Kreisler and Rachmaninoff on Centaur, Piazzolla, Naxos and other labels.

Educated in Germany, Tomas Cotik won First Prize at the National Broadcast Music Competition in Argentina, plus other awards internationally, and has performed with prominent conductors worldwide.

Tao Lin is a Shanghai native who has won international competitions,and has given recitals at the Kennedy Center, in Osaka, and in Norway. He has collaborated with Quartets and distinguished colleagues worldwide.
